Terms of Service

By accessing or using GanapatiDekho ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, devotees, pandal representatives, and anyone else who accesses GanapatiDekho.

GanapatiDekho is an online platform that helps people discover Ganapati pandals, temples, Ashtavinayak shrines, and events across Maharashtra. It also lets devotees create public profiles to share their home Ganapati celebrations (Maaza Bappa), and enables pandal representatives to claim and manage their listings.

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in, you authorise GanapatiDekho to receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address, and profile picture). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your session or allow others to act on your behalf.

There are two account types:

• Devotee (My Ganapati): Create a personal home Ganapati profile and optionally make it publicly visible as Maaza Bappa.
• Pandal Representative: Claim a pandal listing and manage its photos and information.

You may hold both account types using the same Google account.

You may upload photographs and provide information such as your public name, city, and pandal details ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant GanapatiDekho a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

You confirm that:

• You own or have the right to share the content you upload.
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Your content does not contain anything unlawful, offensive, or misleading.

You may control the visibility of individual photos (Public or Private) and your overall profile visibility at any time from your dashboard. You may delete your photos or deactivate your public profile at any time.

Claiming a pandal listing means you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of that pandal. False or fraudulent claims will result in immediate removal and may be reported to relevant authorities. All claims are reviewed by our team before approval.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Upload content that is obscene, hateful, or violates any law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform in bulk without permission.
• Impersonate any person, pandal, or organisation.
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content or account that violates these Terms, without notice. If you believe content on the Platform violates your rights or these Terms, please contact us at the address below.

The Platform uses third-party services including Google (authentication) and Cloudflare (infrastructure and storage). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

GanapatiDekho is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Information about pandals, temples, timings, and events is provided for convenience and may not always be accurate or up to date — always verify directly with the relevant place.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GanapatiDekho and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
