GanapatiDekho ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using GanapatiDekho, you agree to the practices described here.

Information you provide directly:

• Google profile data — When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
• Public profile details — If you create a Maaza Bappa profile, you provide a public display name and city.
• Photos — Photos you upload for your home Ganapati or pandal listing are stored on our servers.
• Pandal information — If you claim a pandal, we store your association with that listing.

Information collected automatically:

• Session cookies — We set cookies to keep you signed in. These are HTTP-only session tokens stored securely.
• Log data — Standard server logs may include IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These are used for security and to improve the Platform.

We use the information we collect to:

• Authenticate you and maintain your session.
• Display your public Maaza Bappa profile to other visitors (only if you have enabled it).
• Manage and display pandal listings you have claimed.
• Show photos you have marked as Public on your profile or pandal page.
• Send important service-related communications (e.g. claim status updates).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Improve and develop the Platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising.

You have full control over who sees your content:

• Individual photos can be set to Public or Private at any time from your dashboard.
• Your Maaza Bappa profile is only visible to the public when you explicitly enable the "Make Public" setting.
• Disabling your public profile immediately removes it from all public listings.
• Deleting a photo removes it from storage permanently.

We use two session cookies:

• session — For pandal representative accounts.
• home_session — For devotee (My Ganapati) accounts.

These are HTTP-only, secure cookies used solely to authenticate your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

We rely on the following third-party services to operate the Platform:

• Google OAuth — For sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — For infrastructure, edge computing, and object storage (photos). Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law.

We retain your account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.

We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, HTTP-only session cookies, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GanapatiDekho is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information via your dashboard.
• Delete your photos and deactivate your public profile at any time.
• Request full account deletion by contacting us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
